I just read my oldest daughter's blog. She makes even the mundane funny! I read her take on country music and thought "she should make a living at this". Of course, I have told her this for years. And the beet salad, what a hoot! She forgets she ate this when but a "Tot". She and her sister will both deny, but I WAS THERE!
Holidays are so full & lonely for me, I am here, wish I were there, or there, or there but enjoying being here. Sort of weird huh?

Mother, dear, the thought of beet salad makes me throw up in my mouth a little...sweet!
I remember making it, but thankfully God has removed the memory of actually ingesting such barf-o-matic stuff...I am thankful to him for that...
I hope you had a good Thanksgiving and I am so glad you enjoy reading my stuff and that it makes you laugh. That's the actual purpose behind it, so its doing what it's supposed to and I am therefore satisfied.
Mother, no matter who you try to substitute for us, there is no substitution... We are totally unique so... yeah. Anyway...sister is funny indeed. But, so are you in your own way. We are a very humorous family. Or as some might say biting sarcasm...but, whatever. We get each other, and that's all that matters. I miss you too at the holidays... I feel kind of alone out here in Kansas...The in-laws just aren't you, you know. Love.
