Stop the Bleeding Please!

I know for most folks my age, the 401K is a buffer against poverty when you are old. My acct. has taken such a hit the last few days, I will work until I am 80 yrs old! I am usually a calm, wait & see person, but even I moved my money to a fixed acct. Obama or McCain, Obama or McCain, oh my, oh gee, who will be president?! I am not McCain's "FRIEND" as he so frequently refers to the audience he has never met, doesn't care about now nor ever care about in the future. Obama is such an orator, I just hope he has more than that going for him, because I believe he will be our next president. Maybe he will go in for a refresher course in Economics before he takes office!

I am so excited!

I get to go to my baby daughter's home in 22 days, and yes, I am counting the days. I feel so loved there. Sometimes when I am lonely here, I look at all my children's pictures and try to remember what was happening and our state of mind when we took them. Most pictures I have reflect happy, healthy, loving people. I have had a good life!

My daughter said I MUST!

Here I am again...my littlest daughter said that this will keep her from being lonely..
I have been invited to my oldest daughter's home this weekend but feel she needs a vacation from it all. I offered all paid trip to my house but she will not let me just be a MOM, she wouldn't be beholden of nothing..just come unlax at my house! Amy is coming Saturday and I thought she would really enjoy that, you know just the girls.

I am so excited!

I have 4 wks today before I go to a Happy Place. Just wish my oldest daug could come with.
